Common wizard issues (and fixes)
Output not quite right? Fix it fast.
Output is missing my affiliate programs
Cause: Forgot to toggle "Affiliate Links Present" in step 3.
Fix: Click Back → Step 3 → toggle on. Then select your programs (Amazon, ShareASale, CJ, Impact) and regenerate.
"Failed to generate" error
Cause: API timeout on the AI provider.
Fix: Wait 10 seconds and click Generate again. If persistent, refresh the page — errors usually clear within 30 seconds.
Disclaimer sounds too generic
Cause: Industry not specified in step 1.
Fix: Go back to step 1 → toggle your industry (e.g. Health, Finance). Industry-specific disclaimers produce much richer output.
Medical / legal / financial notice is missing
Cause: Professional disclaimer toggle not enabled in step 2.
Fix: Step 2 → Professional Disclaimer Types → toggle on "Not Medical Advice" (or equivalent). Regenerate.
Output format is inconsistent (missing headings)
Cause: AI sampling variance — occasional formatting drift.
Fix: Click Generate again — second pass usually gets clean structure. Or copy output into a markdown editor and format manually.
Copy to Clipboard button does nothing
Cause: Browser blocked clipboard API (Safari private mode).
Fix: Manually select + copy the disclaimer text. Or switch to Chrome/Firefox/Edge which allow clipboard writes freely.
Wizard lost my selections after refresh
Cause: Wizard state is session-only, not persisted.
Fix: Complete the wizard in one session. For repeat use, bookmark your generated disclaimer URL — it's faster than re-filling.
Disclaimer is too long for my footer
Cause: Selected every available option.
Fix: Disclaimers belong on a dedicated `/disclaimer` page, not in the footer. Link to it from the footer ("Disclaimer" text link) instead.
